Here is an action that I bought and trued up meticulously using ptg tooling and a Viper truing jig on the lathe. I was planning to build a 6 ppc carry/hunting gun and use it to fireform brass for my bench gun but after a little testing I'm not convinced that the 308 boltface will reliably work with the ppc case head and I have decided to buy a dedicated ppc bolt face action. The threads in the receiver have not been touched or opened up. The receiver face only needed approx .002 to be completely cleaned up. This action was very close to true from the factory.
