Remington 700 Sako extractor for short action mag face

Hi all, i bought a PTG Short action bolt with Mag face, it is cut for a Sako extractor, looking for a Sako extractor, i have seen the Sako extractors either short action with 308 face or long action with Mag face, am i missing something, i dont see short action with Mag face!!!

Help please.

Are you needing the extractor.? Pt&G should have one. I blew up a Remington 700 with a bolt that had a Sako extractor put in it . I will never weaken a Remington bolt again. You may use a short action as a magnum single shot for target shooting.

Thank you, i did look at the PTG site and they do have a short action large size that will probably work.

What do you suppose is the difference between a short magnum and a long magnum boltface?

PTG is taking 6-8 weeks to supply the short action large Sako extractor, Midway does not diffrentiate, only says long action, i thought maybe the long action version is longer??
