Remington 700 LH action in a RH stock?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but a Remington 700 left hand action (LH bolt) will drop right into a RH stock, with the exception of needing to have a new bolt cutout cut, and possibly a cutout for the safety lever, correct?

I found what looks to be a good deal on a 700 chassis stock, but its for a RH action, and if I go through with it, I'll be dropping a LH barreled action into it.

could be a port cut into it too but yes you are correct

Depending on the stock, you may have issues with the cheek piece or the associated hardware if it is an adjustable one.
