I'd say most people don't know what a 700 KS is. It came out of Remington's custom shop with a Brown Precision Kevlar stock in the mid 80's. Very desirable for building a light weight hunting rifle. Lots of potential here.

I have one in 7mm Rem. Mag I bought back in the early 90's. We were going to Wyoming every year and it was the perfect rifle to hunt mule deer with. They are nice rifles. Great buy I can't believe no one has snatched this up.

I have one (270 win) but it has the stock you reference only black. So rem must have used black stocks at some point? Or is mine painted?

I THINK they may have offered both. I have a 243 FS that's gray. Also a model 7 KS that's gray. They make for an easy carry rifles. Rebarrel this one to, the forgotten, 7 Rem Mag and it would be a great all around rifle. If I wasn't 75 and had a safe full of rifles I'd buy it.

I own the exact rifle in a 300 Win Mag. The original owner had a Vais muzzle brake installed; the muzzle brake made this gun a joy to shoot. Built in 1986 by the Remington Custom Shop.
