Remington 700 floorplate trigger guard

The only place i can see that has a trigger guard is PGT. Last time I asked them for info one of their products I got a detachable magazine and bottom metal that would not fit my rifle. So i am going to ask here, the rifle is an Ultra mag does it use the same floorplate/trigger guard as a long action, or is there a different one for the Ultra mags. I know that the receiver bolt holes are the same with a long action and an ultamag, but is the rest the same??

The Numrich schematic only lists long and short action. So yes. LA=Ultramag. My 300 H&H uses LA.

Does it really mean that or do they just not have any ulta mag floorplates? I think you are right but I only want to do this once. I am pretty sure that the magazine box is bigger but it may use the same floorplate.

I believe the only difference is in the mag box. The ultra mag boxes will have cut outs in them while the normal magnum and long action boxes are solid. Check over at redhawkrifles.com they carry multiple makers bottom metal and boxes and generally have them in stock.

Have you checked with Sunny Hill? I recently bought a long bottom metal from them.

The only difference is the box inside. The actual trigger guard (BDL) is the same for any long action.

Stock's is out of stock on all but one of the floorplates. I will check sunny hill and red hawk. Thanks
