REMINGTON 700 DM TO BDL

Can a REMINGTON 700 DM be converted to allow the use of a BDL or ADL mag. box and follower. Thanks RJ

adl; bdl; dm; all different bottom metal only... all will interchange with the action... the stock inletting is different for each...

On a 700 Dm the feed rails have been cut back for the magazine. The detachable mag has lips on it. So if you use a BDL follower it does not have anything to stop it from going right out of the top. What I need is a mag.box that is like the detachable box without the detach. So I can use a ADL or BDL stock

good info.. I didn't realize the feel rails were different... I might have an aftermarket detachable magazine somewhere new in the package... I'll give it to you, if you think it would work...

Riverman, Thanks for the offer but I don't know if would do me any good. There is no way to fasten it to the action unless I TIG it, Which I don't want to do The customer took it with him. He wanted it restocked with a ADL stock. I'll have to get back maybe I'll figure something out. For sure I'm not the only Riflesmith to have a customer for this conversion! Thanks RJ
