I have a nice Rem 700 SA Classic stock. It hasn’t been bedded. Looks good and clean. Was going to save for a project that I never got to.

Can you tell me the width of the barrel channel at the forend please.

With it having a 1" recoil pad, an educated guess would be a Remington magnum contour barrel channel. Brux will duplicate that. They are more strict on the standard contour, 6.5 and smaller bore.

I’m away hunting until Monday, but I’ll measure it when I get home. I’ve been told this is from a short-action magnum because of the thicker recoil pad.
