have 2 of these for sale. one with the black bolt knob and one with the silver. not looking for any trades at the moment just looking for cash to fund another project.

accurized remington 700 short action
the receiver face has been turned true
threads have been cut concentric with the center of the raceway
lug abudtments have been turned true
bolt has been threaded for tactical bolt knob
egw 20moa rail installed
bolt handle was blended and refinished

If the threads were recut, how are they not oversize?

They were trued to the centerline of the bore in the action. My understanding was they were shifted and an oversized accurized kit was not used

You can't "shift" threads in an action. All you can do is recut them, which will make them oversized to at least a several thousandths.

Oversized compared to what? The thread specs? No. The original thread dimension? Ya sure it’s larger than that but they’re not oversized threads. It changes nothing when you cut the tenon of a barrel.
