Remington 700 barrel Thread

I use that program all the time. It's very handy! Just use the right class and it's spot on. I do most everying in a class 2. Look at the specs for all three. for anyone that wonders why. 2 is pretty much the industry standard and tighter doesn't mean better. Not always at least. Whenever we thread to fit a part in hand, we create our own class of fitment, which can't be guaranteed to work with the next part used on the "classless" thread. Threads have classes of fit for good reason, either way. They are our standards to work within. Without them, the world would be screwed...or NOT. Lol! Consistency is what matters. One can thread to the bottom end of class tolerances if they want ant the two parts will still fit but if they go beyond that, they've created a fitment that there is no standard to work to.

Most Rem 700 are oversized and an industry standard thread will be "loose".

Shoot I've had barrels in my shop that were fit for "custom" fit in a standard Rem 700 and I can't even start a standard barrel nut.
