Remington 700 AW Mag Cut

I'd like to open up the bottom of a 700 clone on my bridgeport to accept a double stack AW mag. Can anybody offer some tips or pointers? Maybe dimensions or possible trouble issues to be aware of?

I see one about every other month for rebarreling. Next time I see one I can take some measurements for you. What Chassis are you going to use?

It'll be in a Manners with a mini chassis. I know the latch and stuff needs to be tuned to keep it as high as possible. Thanks!

I saw that already, and it is a damn tempting price. I like to do my own stuff, but I would probably be ahead of the game to just have him do it.
