SELLING Remington 700 action and 1.450 barrel

This item came into my shop recently. The customer had no idea of the caliber it is chambered for. The barrel is unknown manufacturer it appears to be a 1.450+ 29” 6mm. There’s a section that was turned dow to 1.435, probably for a block. The bolt of this has been modified, long ugly bolt handle, look like it was squared and a Sako extractor was installed. It’s a long action with a 308 bolt face. Has a follower glued in to make it a single shot platform.

The action is ON the barrel and I’m not going to fight with it to separate the two. A 3’ breaker bar and 6’ pipe didn’t get it to move. If you want them apart that will be your job.

I want rid of this thing, asking $400 plus shipping. Might entertain an offer if it’s not gone in a few weeks Please don’t lowball me as I will not respond. Not sending to California, period.

I am far too busy to mess with a $400 piece of history. It’s not worth my time. Therefore I will be spending ZERO time on this. I’m not checking twist, etc. it is an unknown and as I stated separating the action from the barrel isn’t my concern.

Can you take a picture of the whole unit? Looks like there is another section on the barrel.
