Look at the inexpensive sticks from Stockys.Just picked up a used Remington 700 in .204 Ruger. Searching my options for best upgrades for this rifle. Fist off it has one of the “sticky” butt pads so that has to go. Wondering if it’s worth replacing the entire stock while I’m at it? Looking for ideas and opinions. Thanks
If your "sticky" pad was supplied by Limbsaver, contact Limbsaver and they should replace the pad at zero cost. They had thousands of pads that were not "cured" properly. They replaced a couple for me that came on a model 700 LVSF stock. Easy to replace the pad, no fitting necessary.
