Remington 6BR Brass???

I am looking into buying a 6BR or building a rifle for one of the 6BR improved cartridges. The Remington brass is quite a bit cheaper than the other brands,Norma and Lapua. Is the remington Brass any good or should I just bite the bullet and pay the higher prices? If this brass is not as good as the others, why?

CZ223, I guess it is a matter of opinions on the brass quality. From my personal experience with Rem. brass, I have never had any results with it that I was satisfied with. My .02. Bill

What Bill said - I threw out 300 pieces of Rem 6mmBR brass and replaced it with Lapua - the difference was obvious on the target.

Catshooter, On the target is exactly right. I have done comparisons with .308 caliber using different brass and so far I have always gotten tighter groups when I was using Lapua. And the 6PPC Lapua brass,220 Russian) taught me my first lessons about that brass compared to the Sako brass. Bill

Remington 6mmBR brass has large flash holes as opposed to the Lapua brass whihc has the smaller flash holes. The small flash holes make the round more accurate using the Lapua brass.

Get the Lapua.
