Remington 6 1/2 primers in a 357 mag?

Can I use them to load for my 357 Mag? I read that in a pistol cartridge the Rem 6 1/2 SRP would be OK to use. I have a brick of them setting on the shelf. It would be nice if I could use them up loading for my pistol. I have a few, very few, small magnum pistol primers which I know is probably best but like I said, very few.

I've shot them and Winchester SRP with no issues. I just tested five revolvers with the CCI SR's and they ran fine also in 5 revolvers. They were not good n my true tuned PPC gun though.
