Remington 581 Bore Guide?

TIA- what are you guys using for a bore guide for a Remington 581?

I use a coated rod. No bore guide on my 581 & others.

TIA- what are you guys using for a bore guide for a Remington 581?

I do use bore guides and had a 581 for several years. It's bore guide was made by the guy I bought the rifle from, who is a gunsmith. I sold the rifle and the guide went with it. Possum Hollow will have the proper guide, but their 'guide of bore guides' is very vague about Remington. Best to call them or just have a smith or decent machinist make one for you. Piece of Delrin rod and a lathe is all that is needed.

I have a few 541s and 582s. If I remember correctly I use the Possum Hollow 541 bore guide in my 582s and it should work in the 581.
