Remington 581 and 788 triggers compatible

A friend has a Remington 581 with a canjar trigger he wants to sell and replace with a timney trigger is the timmney 788 trigger compatible to fo fit the 581 thanks Adam

Yes but will have to modify the bolt retension pin and will have to remove from the stock to remove the bolt because the safety won't pull the pin down low enough.

Nice single stage trigger for the money.

Tried it years ago. Can’t recall all the issues but eventually gave up on the project. Not saying it can’t be done. Aint a bolt-on deal.
