The internet....

I had a guy ask my help one time...he was trying to get his gun (new accumark 30-378) zeroed at 100 yards and have the elavation dial at "1". I was curious as to why he wanted to have the dial a 1. Well..he read on "the internet" ....dial 1 for 100....dial 3 for 300 .....dial 12 for 1200...ect....you get the picture. I have no idea where N-L he got that from.

I told him he needed to buy a "special" scope......go to the gun shop and tell them at the counter what you told me.

I still laugh at the thought of that conversation.....probably 10 guys sitting around...shaking thier heads!!!!
