Remage and Magpul

I have a Rem 700 in .270, I am looking at starting a Remage project. I have a B&C stock and a Magpul, I believe I want to go with the Magpul. Will I be able to open the "barrel nut" area enough without issues?
I am looking at getting a 6.5x284 or 6.5RPM barrel and a 30-06.

The nut is roughly same diameter as the action, so if there is no step down in contour, it should fit just fine. A dremel usually works fine. I have opened up a stockys composite stock for remage before, but not the magpul.

I have the Magpul stock with the Remage setup. Fits without any issues.
