Rem700 bolt change considerations

Im considering changing a standard bolt for a magnum bolt - I understand headspace is critical but are there other things to consider when swapping bolts on a older 700 ? like maybe the ramp on handle for primary extraction? or any other consideration to be aware of? TIA for any and all advise

I would just get a whole new action. A new bolt may fit or may need a lot of fooling around.

The bolts should interchange with no issues. Anti bind features need to be compatible. The real issue is feeding rounds from an action that was built for a different cartridge. You can change mag boxes and followers, but the actions themselves have different dimensions at the feed lips and release points. It can cause some gray hair and new cuss words.
