Rem XP 100 R trigger

I'm changing my trigger on one of my XP 100 R pistols and want to confirm before I order that the trigger is the same trigger as in a Rem 700 action. Was told they were and they look the same to me but just want to confirm before I order. Thanks for the information. Rick

I forget the difference...ie, you can't put a Jewell in an xp pistol, stock and all. But, if you're ptting it in a rifle or some other configuration, they are interchangeable. I have one, fwiw.

Did the rear grip ones have a model seven trigger or are they 700 length?

This is a rear grip stock so I believe it's the same as a rifle. So 700 trigger should work, correct? I guess if I can't get confirmation I can pull a Jewel or Timney off a rifle and give it a try before I order another. Appreciate your thought and help.

Look at the bolt release. They could have used the shorter model seven/xp100 action.

The hole spacing and width are the same. Bolt release and stock cutout in XP is different.

Sure looks like a model seven action and trigger to me but who am i to say. Theyre the only ones with 3 holes for the trigger and that type bolt release plus it only makes sense since thats the size of the original xp

I've put a jewell trigger in my rear grip. When I wanted the bolt release I got a model 7 from them.

And when you want to change, be sure of the distance between pivot pins. Took me a couple of tries to get it right.
