Rem sendero, HS stock recoil pad glued or screwed?

I have a Rem sendero, blue in 7rem mag that is about 4 years old. It has the hs precision stock that rem puts on these guns. It's a good shooter, However I want to add some weight to the stock and figured I'd try the lead shot in the but stock first but I cannot find any evidence of screw holes in the rubber recoil pad.
I suspect its glued on.

Is there any way to remove a glued on pad without damaging it and put it back after the weight is added?
How did you do it?
