REM Clean?..

OK, when did they change REM Clean? I have used the original version which was a medium gray colored mild abrasive. Purchased the current version of REM Clean and it is no longer a gray color and I am curious if it is the same as the old formula?
Anybody have info on the change?

Is it called Rem Clean nowadays…or Remington 40X Bore Cleaner? Bottle I have says Rem 40X.

Gold Medallion bore cleaner

Years ago, I used Gold Medallion bore cleaner on my benchrest rifles. When I ran out of it was about the time I quit serious competition, so it wasn't of much concern at that time. Since then I have heard that Remington bought them out, so I bought some Remington Bore Cleaner, as they call it...

Bob- check out this thread. Remclean, originally Gold Medallion is still available from the manufacturer.

I got two 16 oz bottles shipped for $12. Call them, ask about shipping.Maybe I should clarify, shipping was $12 .
