I have a 700la action with a mag. bolt.it has been blueprinted and I changed mind about magnum and decided to go 6.5x284! a member wanted to swap a 30/06 bolt for my mag bolt.i thought win/win.wrong ,neither bolt will fit others action! i'm told I have C series 700 la and his is much older than mine . my action has been melonited and all blueprinted by a top smith that does work for some of the u s shooting team members but I don't know if I can find a C 700la bolt. any thoughts out there ?
