I am starting to hear from several sources that the Vanguards are a little better than the Remingtons if a guy is going to build from a barreled action up. I know that rifle basix makes a trigger for the Vanguards. I have herd that the Vanguard barrels are a little bit better in quality. Remingon 700 has a 1 in 9 1/8 twist, vs the Vanguards 1 in 10. How heavy of a bullet will the one in ten twist rate handle? Which rifle would you choose to build up?
