I have 2 XMP triggers available at the moment, ($85 ea, shipped)
1 without the trigger adjustment screw (like shown, Pic 1&2)
1 with trigger adjustment screw (3rd Pic)
The trigger adjustment screw doesn't do much except to make it HEAVIER if you feel like adjusting,
(for some unknown reason lol)
most people dont adjust their trigger pull weight once set, so I don't see the trigger adjustment screw as a benefit, you might be able to turn it up to say 3lbs from the current 2.25 is all.
Which is more of a novelty in my opinion.
IE: the trigger is tuned and set as light as it will go after being stoned and honed
with the trigger screw backed out,
the only adjustment possible then, is turning the screw in which only makes the pull heavier.
Anyhow, these triggers are cleaned, sears honed and polished
then adjusted for a crisp smooth pull with no perceptible creep
That is my main criteria, a crisp, safe, consistent, no creep trigger.
---
If you want it heavier, I would recommend just asking me to re-adjust and tune it heavier if you want it say at 3 lbs or something in pull weight like for hunting (no charge)
The XMP's I sell cheaper than the Walkers I sell for obvious reasons
The XMP is a fine all steel trigger, just a little differently designed and not as nicely refined as a Walker
But they still are better than most aftermarket such as a Timney
A fine Varmint or Hunting Trigger for this price.
Tested on a Rem 700 action for functionality and to ensure Safety works and holds
---
I back my work and If there is any problem I will fix, readjust, or replace the trigger within 30 days of shipping it. (Some actions are slightly different, firing pin springs different strength etc.)
Thanks much
John
