Rem 700 SPSV .204 Ruger

Scheels in Wild Nevada has a Rem700 on sale for $569.00 . But knowing I'll have to upgrade the trigger ,might as well hold out for the CZ-527

The price sounds high to me, the last couple of SPSV I bought were from Cabelas, the one last year was $325 and one this year for $350. They were on sale and one was the ADL version(no floorplate) and the other was the BDL version (floorplate).

They both shot ok, around 3/4" for 5 shots at 100 yds, but you are correct about them needing a trigger upgrade.

Sorry no experience with CZ except for the 452 rimfires.

If I recall correctly one of them had to have a rebate sent in to get the price down that low but it was painless and worked just fine.

No experience with one in 204 but I'm guessing they probably make a pretty nice rifle. I know there is one for sale on another forum that the guy has been trying to sell for over two months with no takers. If you're interested I can send you the link.
