rem 700 mag conversion??

has anyone ever done a conversion on a Remington 700 in .308 to use magazines? if so what kit did you use or who did it and would you recommend them. have a custom 700 and the last step is to do a mag conversion on it, and am having trouble finding someone to do or info to do it myself. thanks.

Go with the H-S detachable ones available from Brownell's; almost a drop-in

There are several bottom metal makers for the Remington 700. Some are drop in some require some fitting. Other things to consider who's magazines do the bottom metals accept. Proprietary or universal mags. Magazine length may also be a concern, some accept only SAAMI length cases others accept longer COAL.
