Tightneck, you and the others here have given me great advice and I do understand what you state about the Remington actions. I guess I'm a bit on edge about the whole issue of replacing a bolt and working on a rifle that there was nothing wrong with...except some idiot was able to get my bolt out of the shipping box and lose it. I apologize again and hope there are no hard feelings. Though I'm just a "bottom-feeder", the advice you and the others here give can still be used. I must admit, I don't understand some of it.
