Rem 700 Bolt

Can any one tell me how to set up and time a Remington 700 bolt and handle for silver soldering.

Most of us use a fixture of some kind. You need to locate it correctly fore and aft and radially. You can't just align it with the back of the bolt and call it good.
There have been some discussions on some of the gunsmithing boards but I don't recall which one, now. Might try www.benchrest.com, longrangehunting.com and West Coast Tactical gunsmithing boards.

Do you solder the handle on or do you weld it?

I use silver solder,foil) but several of my friends TIG weld them. BAT silver solders, AMT TIG welded them, Lawton is TIG welding them, I think.
