SELLING Rem 700 action ( Trued by Bob Green) with HS stock

Super nice action here! Exquisite bedding job, action had a lot of work done to it by His Majesty Bob Green.

Selling action, with stock, all the bottom metal parts, aftermarket stock screws, two-piece pic rail etc. Front of action has been trued, lugs lapped, Rifle Basix trigger, 1.5lbs. Very nice. Want to keep it together because of the nice fit. We'll see how it goes.

Do you know if the receiver threads have been altered?

And what is the letter prefix on the serial no?

I think the threads are normal Rem size, but I don't have access to a thread pitch gauge here at home, I will see if the barrel fits on another Rem action I have.

G series on the action number, IIRC. Will confirm.

Bolt face? I'm guessing .384 with the .204 barrel on the invoice? How about the barrel channel on the stock?

What happened to that 204 barrel? Seems like it would have been one awesome varmint rifle.

Sorry , it's a 223 size BF. I knew I forgot something, lol. When I get back home I will measure the stock contour. It started out as a 204, got rebarrelled to a 20-223AI, by the previous owner. I pulled the barrel for another project. Pretty sure it would be considered a Sendero Contour. Will have exact measurements in a few days.

Updates with measurements. Barrel that was on this rifle is 1.20 at the breech, 10" mark 1.00, 12" mark( end of stock) is 1.00". Hopefully that helps with the contour dimensions of the stock. With these measurements, there was just enough clearance to slide an index card all the way up to the action.
