Rem 600 barrel diameter and thread pitch

Hi
I know SFA about Rem 600's.
Can you fit REm 700 barrels to Rem 600 actions or do you have to rethread the barrel to a smaller diameter??

Can anyone tell me the magazine length of a 222 Rem 600??

any other info that you might like to share about the Rem 600 actions

Thread diameter and TPI are nominally the same,1-1/16 x 16). Can't answer about the magazine.

I don't have the dimensions of the 600 magazine either but it is longer than most people would expect. Look at the cartridges the rifle was chambered for and it will give you a good idea. Wasn't the 6mm Rem one of them? Also, the thread dia and pitch are the same but I don't think a M700 barrel would be interchangable without some work. Different tenon length?

REM 600 is the same thread, all specs as ) a REM 700 thread

mag box of the 600 in 222 is the mag box of the 223 so OAL max is the OAL max of the 223, closely AR15 OAL mag use )
