Reloading the 6XC

Hello, would like for someone to direct me for reloading information for the 6XC. I will be using 115 DTAC bullets and Berger 107 Moly. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

I forgot to add that I will using RL 17 powder with the above listed bullets.

You can always start low and work up with the R17. Figure you would be running about 38-39 grs of H4350 with those bullets, top end, and if I remember correctly without going out to the garage, you will be running about the same with R17, maybe a bit less.

If you cant find R17 data, just go LOW to be safe and work up. I know I have some data somewhere out in the garage and will go dig for it if you cant find anything else.

With 115 DTACs/Norma brass/CCI BR2s I run 38.5 g. R17 for Long and Mid Range, 38 g. for off-hand and rapids. Never worked up a load for any other bullets frankly. Velocity out of a 27" True-flite is around 2900 fps.. Could never reach the 40+ grains that other folks have claimed for this powder but it has been very consistant and accurate in this cartridge as well as my 6.5/284. It definitely feels temp. changes but only about 1/2 grains worth in 50 deg. change.
