Cant think what else I got. Nothing that says creedmoore, only lapua and berger stickers...

Sound like a pretty top notch set up? I know whidden sizer dies may be better, but by how much to see a difference? Im on the fence with that.

It’s hard to beat having your own reamer and a custom die that works with said reamer. Go that route and the constant searching for that perfect sizing die ends because all your chambers will essentially be the same moving forward as long as you have a competent gunsmith.

Another vote for reamer/chamber that works with dies...
FX with Auto Trickler is great, I like my Hydro press a lot, Wilson seating dies work very well, I’ve had no trouble with my Redding fl bushing Die now that I ha ave the correct reamer...jmo

Sounds like im fairly spot on with my set up now. I wasnt happy with how I was set up prior, it worked ok, but Ill cut down time now, and more doing it right annealing, etc etc.

Def will end up buying reamers and doing custom dies at some point. Im still playing with all kinds of calibers to find what I really like the most.

About the only way I differ from you in the basic setup is that I use a "progressive" loading setup - one Rockchucker and 3 Lee C type presses in a row on the loading bench, because I always use a 4 die setup for pistol cartridges so that the projectile isn't still being seated while the case is being crimped.

Nice selection of gear.

Quite an impressive list.
You must be getting your shop back together, and out of the RV?

I'm getting ready to sell my place, we are considering going the RV route for a couple years until I retire.
The storage thing is a concern for us, so my question is how are you and the wife dealing with the lack of room ?

Don't you have a dial or digital caliper?

Well it first comes down to necessities. We did buy a 38 ft RV which helps. Lots of storage and organization skills.. we even have a 7 month old with a big crib and all the baby stuff too. Lots of things in a house you dont really "need" to get by. Its different, but you adjust really quick. Rvs are loaded with storage areas. A big part of it is buying the right RV. Many are set up for camping only, you gotta find one thats alittle more residential. For example ours has a big refredgerator double doors almost residentail size, has a pantry for food, big enough areas for a washer and dryer... etc etc.. living in one is completely doable as long as you have a long term goal. In our case our RV was bought new cash, paid off... so all we pay is spot rental and electric, so we live CHEAP compared to a house payment, bills, insurance, taxs etc... So we alhave been saving for a down payment on a house as a long term goal for when my job takes us back somewhere we can settle again.

Itd be a good idea to just go and look at some rvs. Get an idea of the storage, the living area etc... id reccomend Grand Design. Weve been very happy so far. They are all cheaply made junk, but some are better cheaply made junk. Jmo
