Reloading for C 308 sporter?

Hello, I was interested in buying Century Arms C 308 sporter rifle . I was informed by the salesman that because of the fluted chamber in the rifle the ejected brass was deformed and thus non- reloadable. Does anybody have any feedback on this? Thank you.

Some do .... some don't. You'll get the customary "racing stripes" of carbon on the brass from the flutes, but otherwise they should be in good condition. It is a roller locker gun, and they have a reputation for damaging mouths badly, but that particular rifle seems to be easier on brass than others. If reusing the brass is a deal breaker for you, you may want to think about another type of action. It will be a toss-up as to how badly they are damaged.

BTW ........ In cases like this I've found Google to be a good place to start.

GREAT Start, but asking the experts here will tell the rest of the story.

Look at the Google/YouTube videos, then ask questions. OK.

Make no mistake ........ I always come here for info. But how many of the members here will have that particular rifle? That was my reason for referencing Google. ;)
