Reloading Component Sources

After a few years off to focus on some fishing, I am back to tuning in some guns and making some new ammo.
I was a bit shocked to see I can no longer buy components in stock. Need some help on finding several items;

300 WSM brass - preferably Norma but open to any match grade brass
270 WSM brass - " "
6.5-284 brass- Preferably Lapua
6.5x47Lapua brass - Preferably Lapua (saw some Alpha brass, is that match quality?

Berger 7mm 180 grain hybrids -

Any advice on where or IF I will ever be able to get these would be appreciated. Thank God I was stocked up on primers and powder. I'd hate to have to give up on a bunch of guns or rechamber to something else. If these will never be available again I need to know so I can plan my next move.

Welcome Rip Van Winkle.. lol. There is a running thread at the top of this page showing everything that is in stock and where. We are over the hump good thing you were out doing other things during the height of this crap. Stuff is actually coming back now to local store. Good luck in your endeavors.

I will suggest you learn to use these two web sites. They are pretty thorough but they don't cover every possible supplier or topic.

There are two points to this, one is they gather most of the homework for you automatically, and the other is the sources they show are not scams.

On that first point, you can try to use the automatic notification from each respective supplier, but that is often not fast enough for many of the items you listed. In other words, I used to run that way but by the time you get the email and go to the web site, you are often too late. The Shootingbot site will use a rapid text notification called Telegram, and even then you may find you need to respond immediately or things are gone. Study your prices ahead of time because you may want to risk waiting for different suppliers to get stock rather than jump on the first one, but that is a risk. Either way, best to know the going rates.

On the second point, since the elections and the bug, there has been a lot of scam sites to pray on consumers and components and ammo are one of their favorites. The scammers are very clever and disguise themselves very well. I will suggest you stick to sources shown on those two web sites and ones you are already familiar with to give yourself time to learn how to spot a scam.

I failed at many subject in my years of schooling. Obviously only reading the 1st & last sentences of the book has not bode well for me

I stopped at a pawn/ gun shop today....imr 4198@ 52.00 a lb...h380 @ 42.00 a lb....I guess I was lucky getting 8lb kega of imr...and I have other med burn powders and save the 380 for what Bruce intended.
