Reloading/Annealing Need Advice

When you Anneal, what is the order to follow One or Two?

ONE....
Anneal
Resize Case
Seat Bullet or

Two.....
Resize Case
Anneal
Seat Bullet

I have been adivsed one should not resize case after annealing? Whatever the best process is, please let me know the reasons for either. Thank You.

ONE. Anneal first. Then resize and seat bullet etc.

If you resize first, then anneal, your case will most likely expand due to the heat imparted, and you will have to resize again so your case fits your chamber.
Make sure that all primers are spent and most of the burnt carbon is removed from the neck before annealing, or it could harden and be more difficult to remove.
Some will say that you must remove all primers first, but that will mean that you will have to resize twice as mentioned above. As long as they are not live your ok to anneal.

I purchased a Lee depriming die for around $15.00. Allows depriming before resizing. This die is not caliber specific. Money WELL spent

My routine is:

Deprime
SS media clean
Anneal
Resize

Resizing dies always see clean brass....

Deprime
Stainless clean
Anneal with a Benchsource machine for perfect consistency
Clean outside of neck with 0000 steel wool. There is a very slight surface roughness after annealing.
Clean inside of neck with nylon brush chucked in a drill. Same reason.
Resize with Redding S die .002 undersized. Lube with Imperial sizing wax (minimally)
Wipe Imperial sizing wax off with dry rag
Prime with Sinclair primer tool
Charge with your favorite load. A GD503 and Omega trickler is the best way
Seat bullet with Redding micrometer Seater. No lube. They will be butter smooth.
Wipe down loaded cartridge with rag moistened with 99% Isopropyl Alcohol
Go win some matches

What is the iso for? Bit squeamish about that getting near a primer?

The alcohol removes any lube that may be left on the case from resizing. I'm not talking about a dripping wet rag. Just lightly moistened. No need to worry about your primers.

I dry rag the cases after resizing, but there can be just a bit of lube residue on the finished cartridge. There is no way I will tumble a resized case or loaded round. That's why they get the alcohol wipe when finished. Works great and you know that your cartridge is perfectly clean.
