Reloading 308 110gn Vmax with N140

Hi Guys

Has anyone loaded the Hornady 110gn Vmax with N140? I am thinking of developing a load for small deer in Scotland.

I have a 20" Remmy700 SS barrel, use lapua and BR2 primers.

Any advice gratefully received.

Peter - I am loading the 110 V-Max in a 300 Whisper in an Encore pistol, but with H110. The 110 grainer is one nasty bullet on our PA groundhogs.

I used Varget with the 110 Vmax. Maybe not the best choice, but that is always my go to powder. That bullet makes a heck of a hole in a Coyote. I don't think a small deer will stand a chance.

I plan to use the 300 Whisper on PA whitetail this Fall, but I think I will go with the 110 grain Barnes, It's a little tougher bullet.
