After trying numerous different loads, I have found a load that gives me the best results at 200 yards for my 30-06 rifle. The bullet is a Hornady A-Max 30 Cal. .308" 155 GR with a Twist Rate 1 - 14" or faster, powder is IMR 4895. Any more powder and the bullet starts to move around on the paper and anything less and the grouping is not as tight. I will state as of this posting, I have not shot this bullet at 100 yards, but I can't believe there will be much change in the grouping, but I maybe wrong on that.
