Reloading 200gr. .40 S&W, anybody?

I am one of the people who can tell a difference between 160gr and 180gr in recoil when shooting .40 S&W loads. I am wondering if that difference in recoil is the same between 180gr and 200gr.
If you shoot or have shot 200gr in your .40 S&W what did you decide about the 180gr/200gr bullets?

The recoil impulse from the lighter bullets like 155s and 135s seems sharp compared to the slower push of the 180 and 200s.

200 and 220s recoil nice and soft/slow, but in the end the 180 felt better. And they are easier to find.

The load I settled on moves a 180 around 940-950 fps.

I like 200 and 220s in my 10mm revo.

I've played with them a bit and settled on 155 gr bullets. Mass going out of the barrel is always going to result in higher recoil as the bullet weight increases. I have slowed down the sharper recoil impulse mentioned earlier by going to a captured dual action recoil spring. It slows the slide slightly and really makes it super easy to shoot. Nothing to run 2-300 rounds in a session without fatigue.

Have only loaded the 180 -185's so I can't help on this one . My .40 is a self-defense weapon , only .
