Hello I’m looking for Reloader 22 rifle powder in Long Island NY Or upstate NY . Thank you.

Howdy !
FWIW -
I shoot a 6mm wildcat that has case capacity of 51.2gr H2O. I have shot bullets of 85-108gr from my rifle’s 29” 1-8 SS Broughton….
I was able to shoot w/ my wildcat case very nearly full w/ RL-22 w/ all bullets weights within the wt span listed; by only making a .1gr decrease/increase in charge at as needed. For me, a max charge of RL-22 gave the best groups: along w/ max load density. Can’t ask for more than that, I reasoned.
* But… after I read that RL-22 “ burns hot “ plus running low on RL-22, I looked into
finding a suitable replacement. *
I was able to source RL-23, -25, and RL-26 for my range testing. I did so much testing, that all 3 of my cans of these powders are now nearly empty. What I learned…..
When determining the max charge for each of these powders in my gun/my loads,
I found a that my max charge of RL-23 was just .1gr higher than the max charge load of
RL-22 I had been shooting. And, since .1gr is so low a difference and given the possibility of misinterpreting pressure signs; in my gun/my loads…. Max charge wt for
both RL-22 and RL-23 are effectively the same.
Having said that, I will add…
My range testing went on for so long because I wanted to find the powder/charge wt that shot best under Sierra 95 T-MK; and ideally… the charge wt would give a very nearly full case w/ safe pressure…. using one of the 3 new propellants. When I ran out of
95T-MKs and couldn’t source any, I was compelled to switch to a new 6mm bullet for my varmint shooting.
I chose the Hornady 87 “ V”-Max. And just within the last couple of weeks, RL-25 pulled ahead of RL-23 and RL-26; by finally yeilding the best groups AND did so when shooting the max charge wt ( RL-25 ). I am using FED Large Magnum Rifle Match primers ( GM215M ).
I surprised that the bullets groups so well, as I was testing while fire forming a batch of new wildcat cases; and was using a hefty amount of “ jam “. I managed to kill a groundhog using a fire forming cartridge w/o benefit of any chronograph data; and having a art eye still not recovered from surgery. I still have seating depth and neck tension load refinement testing and to do, but am very encouraged by what RL-25 is showing thus far.
Now….if I can find some more !
