can reloader 17 be used with 65 grain to 75 grain bullet and get the 200 fps increases in a 6 mm br caseor any of the improved ones?

I think you'll find it too slow for those bullets in the 6BR case. Meaning you'll run out of case capacity before you reach the desired pressures. You'll probably do best with something like Benchmark or N135.

Not sure if I'd totally agree. R15 is an excellent powder for the BR case, if 17 is a tad slower may be even better. I have had a 5lber on order since this spring and I am planning on trying it in all my 6MM cases. Think it may be ideal.

#1 We won't know anything for certain until someone tests, but from what we can tell so far, Reloder 17 behaves like a somewhat slower lot of H4350, but delivers more velocity.

Running a Quickload projection with a Berger 70gr FB bullet, a full case,33.0 grains, and 105% capacity) of H4350 yields only 38850 psi. Even if you can get another 150 fps with RL17 compared to H4350, you'd be at 3170 fps in a 26" barrel, which is considerably slower than with Benchmark, H322, Reloader 10X or N135. Quickload projects you can get over 3450 fps with a faster powder and a 70gr FB bullet.

Of course, testing may reveal RL17 to be great, but I think it has more potential with heavier bullets in the 6BR case. If Quickload is to be believed, it's too slow for the 65-75 grain bullets.

So whats being said here is Re. 17 with heavier bullets i.e. 95-107 ish is probobly going to bemore improvement than with light bullets. I was thinkin of tryin it wit some 105s.
