refinishing a panda action

I have an older panda action that was bead blasted. I would like to re-blast but was thinking it should be sealed or coated with something. Does anyone know what works best or have any suggestions.

If it's stainless you need nothing but the blaster....
No need to apply any coating unless it's chrome moly..

A Panda is aluminum action with steel inserts.

I would polish it. Stays pretty forever!!!

Take a look at soda blasting it. That gives the same appearance as glass beading but isn't as aggressive. Without the surface being as rough you won't need a surface coating because it won't attract dirt as bad. If you must surface coat use a clear gloss polyurethane.
