Redfield X-Tube?

I used to shoot one on my 1413 years ago I really liked it because it helped my eye center the bull. It reminds you of looking through a tunnel.

I shot mine yesterday on one of my 52D's and wasn't impressed. Maybe I didn't have it set up right. There is very little information out there on them.

They are hard to setup. A lot of trial and error and if you go from 50 to 100 then it has to be set up again

I am not sure I understand what you mean, set up again.
The redX is made to fit over your existing rear sights, when you change elev. the tube moves with the rear sight, thus not having to set up again. The lower pic of the scope attached to your parkerhale rear sight.

My understanding is that you should adjust the end of the tunnel so that it centers the front globe sight. If you adjust the rear sight to go up 7 moa for the difference between 50 and 100 yards the front isn’t centered hence the new adjustment. The other trick was to have a dual ramp on the front. But again the front sight is not going to be centered and you get an incorrect view till you readjust it

If you are always shooting at 50 or 100 then it isn’t as much of a problem

I have one and tried it on my kimber 82 and found I was fiddling with it and not improving my score with it. Not worth the hassle
