REDDING Type S - Match Die Set 20 Vartarg

Anyone recently have luck finding a retailer that will order one for you? I tried to order one about 20 weeks ago and still waiting. The REDDING Part # is 20 Vartarg 38636

Relief at last, I was starting to worry, but all worked out.

Matter of factly speaking, 6 months is the current normal if you want to order a new REDDING 20 VarTarg FL "Bushing" Die.

From Brownells it took 6 months to the day to get the Type-S Bushing Style FL Die 77636
I called REDDING directly and they referred me to a reseller called Accuratearmsandammo.com, they took 5½ months to send the 38636 20 VarTarg Die set that includes the Competition Seating Die with a Micrometer, Body Die and Type S Bushing Neck Sizing Die.

Just ordering the 80636 was the easiest, only took about 1½ months.

I think it's worth mentioning, If you're considering a 20 VarTarg, ordering a FL Bushing Die is something you might want to get going when you order your rifle.

I also picked up the L.E Wilson, 20 VarTarg dies which didn't take long at all.

For the REDDING 20 VT dies, the 80636 seems to be the most readily available in my experience.

I would suggest buying a body die first. You can work around with a couple of fireball bushing dies and seaters to get where you want. Wildcatters have been pretty adaptive in the past.

Exactly, that's what I'm saying. Using the Bushing dies just makes it a lot easier. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind doing the extra work when it comes to Wildcat cartridges.
