Redding seating die: 6.5/284 vs. Norma version

Hi All.
I'll take delivery of a rifle with a 6.5/284 Norma chamber this week. The seating die I have is a Redding but listed as 6.5/284 WIN.. Will I need a replacement sleeve for the Norma version? In order to get the bullets (142 SMKs) out past 3.100" I'm having to back the die off the shellholder quite a bit and worrying that bullet alignment may suffer.

Not a problem, it's actually made that way. I use the same die and seat well past 3.100". The case is suppossed to "float" in the shellholder anyhow, and the sliding sleeve captures the case and takes care of alignment

I use a clamping type ring, not the kind that runs the screw into the threads to keep the die setting when changing dies around, really helps to eliminate diddling around resetting the die when putting it back in the press.

I haven't encountered any negative effects.
