Redding die kit vs Lee die kit (223 with links)

Looking for a full length sizer and a seater die.

Have used Lee dies in the past and found them to be accurate.

Redding has a good reputation as well.

Between these two sets, what are the major differences? Which is better-why?

The Lee kit happens to come with a crimping die, which I am not interested in. Would just sell/trade it.

Looks to me like about $14 ;D Honestly, they are both good and you probably won't tell the difference between them. There was a time when Lee made dies that were'nt on par with Redding but that gap has really narrowed with the advent of CNC machining. When I started loading, I went with RCBS, then Redding & today have several sets of Lee dies that work great along with RCBS, Redding, Hornady. Obviously you're loading hunting rounds so I would pick the one most available.

Have your though about the forster Ultra die set and you can send the sizer in and have the neck honed to your spec for like $10.
