Is there a way to lock the micrometer top on the Redding comp. seater die after the correct seating depth is achieved so there is no possibility of accidental movement?

the micrometer is pretty stiff, accidental movement is not something i see any reason to worry about.
if your micrometer has become loose, just replace the O ring
