Redding case activated powder drop for Dillon 550

With a new Dillon 550 ordered and on the way, I’d like to start gathering necessary components I would need to upfit a case activated powder drop feature for a Redding 10x pistol measure. It is my understanding that this is possible and has been done. If you feel that Dillon powder measure is adequate then good for you, but I do not wish to utilize their measure.

Beside the Redding measure, I believe I would need a Hornady case activated powder drop linkages p/n #050073 and their quick change powder die p/n #050074 as well as pistol power sleeve #392700 … is there anything else I am missing?

I do not wish to utilize a powder through expander as I will be using a dedicated expander die in the first station (all brass will be deprimed, cleaned and resized on a different press beforehand).

If Redding does not offer a setup for their powder measure, I'm not sure if Hornady or RCBS linkage will work.
The Dillon powder measure is great if you're using ball powder.

Dillon sells a powder die to adapt a non-Dillon powder measure.

I modified several measures to work with my Lee progressive. Not hard to do but it was not with off the shelf components.

Two key factors. Make sure the measure operates at the proper point in the cycle. Leverage, cams, etc. Second, ensure the powder flow path has no crevices to collect powder and proper taper to prevent bridging.

Leverage is usually just making a push/pull lever and attaching it to the press and measure in the right place. I used Al strips from the hardware store, cut to length and drilled.

The flow path is dependent on the charge die and the outlet of the measure. The intervening part is sized for each of those other two. Drilling, tapering and polishing a solid rod (I uses some brass I has sitting around) is fairly simple.
