Redding 6.5x47 Lapua Dies arrived !

The good news is that apparently Redding is shipping the new dies as mine arrived today.
The bad news is they come complete with a 6.5mm expander.
The really bad news is the thimble assy. is drilled for a large primer pin. Somebody forgot to tell them that all the brass has a small flash hole.
I will advise them the first thing in the a.m. I would advise all the 6mm and .22 shooters to be very specific regarding your order to make sure you get the proper thimble assy. for your caliber.

Sorry I don't want to confuse any one Re: the 6x47 alphbet soup cartridges.
The last post should have said THE 6.5x47 LAPUA dies arrived today.

I would expect the 6.5x47 dies to include a 6.5 expander, but I would also expect them to have the small flash hole pin...

Redding is always so good to work with though, I have no doubt they will get the depriming pin fixed real quick!!

6x47 LAPUA Dies.
Again, Sorry guys, I'm apparently suffering from mouth ahead brain syndrome. The fix is in the box from Redding. They have included a replacement expander that is undersized -.22 cal. The 6.5 cal. expander is simply removed and replaced with the provided small none cal. specific pin locking,expander ?) problem solved.
you will have to supply your own small decapping pin. I used a Forester replacement pin as theirs has been turned and is large to fit the spindle at one end and small to fit the small flash holes at the other end.
I should ask the moderator to erase this whole thread.

I ordered them direct from Redding 3 mo's ago. Sinclair told me today that they have them in stock.
