pardon my lack of knowledge, but what does double ring mean?

There is one carbide ring that size the mouth of the case for bullet retention. The second ring is a larger diameter which sizes the base for chambering. This prevents over working the brass each sizing.
These two images may show the difference. The dual ring is pixelated for some reason.
